Remember: dating a fool not only reflects on them but also on your decisions. Recognizing red flags (Retreat - Extremely - Dangerous) is crucial in building a safe and godly relationship.

 Conditions vs. Qualities

One of the key points I discuss is the difference between conditions and qualities in a mate. Conditions like physical appearances and career types change with time, while qualities like kindness and integrity are enduring. I shared anecdotes about how unrealistic conditions can hinder finding meaningful relationships and why focusing on qualities is more fulfilling.

In my BTL (Build the List, Believe the List, Become the List) workshop, I emphasize the importance of developing realistic and godly expectations in a partner. Recognize that meeting the right person involves looking beyond superficial conditions to long-lasting qualities.

Drawing from 1 Samuel 16, the story of David reminds us that God sees the heart, not outward appearances. So, when seeking a partner, trust in God’s wisdom to guide you to the right person, even if they come in an unexpected package.
